Teaching programme:
Through immersive design thinking practices, students will engage in an experimental journey to comprehend the UX (User Experience) design process. By the workshop’s end, students will gain hands-on experience and insights to ideate, prototype, and iterate solutions that prioritize user needs, improving overall user experience.

Key Learning Objectives:
Based on the content below, the workshop will be divided into three sessions, each lasting 3 hours, 3 hours, and 2 hours, respectively. During these sessions, participants will engage in guided exercises focused on practicing design thinking methods.

1st day: 14th of May, 08:00 am-10.45 am (studio no. 105)
2nd day: 15th of May, 12:00 pm-3:00 pm (studio no. 105)
3rd day: 17th of May, 12:00 pm-1.30 pm (studio no. 105)

4. Ideate Creative Solutions
5. Prototype and Interate Solutions
6. Empasize User-Centric Design Principles.

Workshop Methodology: interactive discussions, hands-on activities, case studies, prototyping sessions, peer feedback sessions.

About Professor:

Prof. Moonjung Kang is a visual communication designer and UX design specialist working as a professor in the Department of Media and Visual Communication at West Liberty University, USA. She holds design degrees from Hansung University and Hongik University in South Korea. To her credit, she has worked with many American and Korean companies in the creative sector. She has won awards including at: The 27th Exhibition of Korea Visual Designer & Craftsman Association, Special Award and Silver, The 26th Exhibition of Korea Visual Designer & Craftsman Association, Silver, The 21st Contest of Korean Arts College, Bronze, 2017 KOCON International Design Exhibition, Best of The Show. She serves on the presidium of KOCON, The Korea Contents Association.
